Dan Craig to leave Superstruct after seven years
Superstruct Entertainment executive Dan Craig is leaving the international festival group after seven years with the company.
Craig announced his departure in a LinkedIn post, saying the start of the new festival cycle represented the right time for him to step away from the business.
“The Superstruct journey has, for me, been primarily about friendship, trust and respect, shared with the hundreds of people across the business who convert their passion and conviction into incredible experiences for audiences every day,” Craig said.
He added that it had been a pleasure to contribute to the company`s development alongside its founders, executives and festival teams, saying Superstruct was “in great hands”.
Craig joined Superstruct following a long career in live-event operations. Before moving to the company, he was Head of Operations at Loud Sound and served for many years as Operations Director for BST Hyde Park. He subsequently became Director of Operations at Superstruct Entertainment.
During his time with Superstruct, the group has expanded significantly through acquisitions and partnerships across the European festival market. The company operates a portfolio of more than 80 festival and live-event brands.
Superstruct itself has also gone through a period of leadership and ownership change. Alex Mahon was appointed CEO in 2025, succeeding co-founder Roderik Schlosser, who moved to a non-executive director role.
Craig said he will now take a break with his family before deciding on his next move.
“I’m looking forward to a short break with my family — and then to what comes next,” he said.
