New CEO appointed at Royal Arena in Copenhagen

At the start of the new year, Anders Kjørup will assume the role of CEO at Royal Arena in Cope

At the start of the new year, Anders Kjørup will assume the role of CEO at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, taking over from Dan Hammer, who announced earlier this year that he would be stepping down after 11 years. Anders Kjørup, currently the Commercial Director at the restaurant chain Sticks’n’Sushi, announced the career move on LinkedIn, expressing his excitement for the new opportunity. "The new role offers a world of incredible experiences and exciting challenges in sports, entertainment, and music, and I look forward to every single one of them. I am honored to take over from Dan Hammer, who has been Royal Arena`s skilled leader since day one, even before the arena was built," said Kjørup. He emphasized his commitment to building on the venue’s success: "The goal is to further develop and ensure Royal Arena`s continued success, creating even more spectacular experiences for employees, loyal partners, and thousands of guests." In addition to his new role, Anders Kjørup will navigate an upcoming ownership transition for Royal Arena, as the venue’s current owners, Copenhagen Municipality and Realdania, have put it up for sale.
