The European Talent Exchange (formerly ESNS Exchange) has announced its final 2024 results, celebrating a landmark year for the continent’s premier music exchange programme. Established in 2003 to address challenges in promoting European pop music globally, the initiative has become a cornerstone for fostering international success for European artists. 2024 Highlights This year, the programme facilitated 335 performances by 132 acts from 33 countries, spanning 95 festivals across 34 nations. English band Fat Dog (pictured) emerged as the most booked act, securing 15 festival slots. Other top performers include English Teacher (UK), Yard (Ireland), and YĪN YĪN (Netherlands), reflecting the initiative’s diverse and pan-European reach. Since its inception, the programme has supported 2,292 artists from 36 countries, resulting in 5,675 shows at 197 festivals across 44 nations, underscoring its profound impact on the European music landscape.
