The 37th edition of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) is set to take place from February 25-28, 2025, featuring an expanded program of panels, workshops, and discussions led by industry leaders. The event brings together top professionals from across the live music sector aboard a unique makeshift research vessel, offering a platform for collaboration, innovation, and dialogue. Wednesday highlights include FKP Scorpio’s Folkert Koopmans joining The Open Forum and The O2’s Robbie Balfour leading a session on marketing strategies in Marketing: Navigating Channels. Rauha Kyyrö from FKP Scorpio will chair Ethics & Activism: Adapting to Artist and Fan Views, while Alex Bruford from ATC Live will guide the discussion in Festival Formats: Survive & Thrive. Workshops on Wednesday will cover topics such as live music insurance, led by experts from LMP Group, Tysers, and Novitas, and gender-balanced programming, presented by Christina Hazboun of Keychange. Thursday Program will feature The Tour 2.0: Short Change? chaired by Sally Dunstone of Primary Talent International. The Venue’s Venue panel adds speakers from Live Nation EMEA, ASM Global, Grupo Quality, and Oak View Group, moderated by IQ Magazine’s James Drury. Sustainability takes center stage in Sustainability: Words into Action, chaired by Claire O’Neill of AGF/GEI. Additional sessions include Marie Lindqvist from ASM Global leading Wellness vs. The Industry and Carol Scott of TAIT chairing Artist Contracts: The Sustainability Clause. Meanwhile, Ruth Koleva of SoAlive Music Conference will guide The Campfire: Central & Eastern Europe, and Shain Shapiro from Sound Diplomacy will chair Music & Cities: Built on Rock & Roll.
